In this journey, the idea is to connect with people , and exchange knowledge through drum lessons, Ableton Live , as well as my compositions and live performances and recordings as a Solo Artist, Drummer / Percussionist and as a Producer .

A SHORT
HISTORIC
Carioca of the gem and Londoner by affinity, Vig divided his last 15 years between Rio de Londres, choosing (finally) to stay in Rio! As a drummer, Vig has worked with big names from both sides of the Atlantic such as: Eminem, Avril Lavigne, Will Smith, Kelly Rowland (Destiny's Child), Bishi, Jason Donovan, Shakin 'Stevens and Patrick Wolf, acclaimed British artist with whom he played the world twice having even played at the Planeta Terra Festival in São Paulo in 2009 and with whom she also opened the American tour of Amy Winehouse in 2007.
In Brazil he recorded with Gilberto Gil, Lenine, Roberta Sá, Pedro Luis, Zé Renato, Fenix among others, and was a drummer for the band Tantra (Universal Music) in the 90s. He also played / plays with Lobão, Marcelo Bonfá (Legião Urbana) , Léo Jaime, Pedro Luis, Alexia Bomtempo, Katia B, Letuce, Marina Lima among many others ...
SOUNDTRACK: As a composer Vig was already awarded in Italy at the Massimo Troisi Festival 2003 with the song MAGIC EYES in partnership with Bruno LT. He is a signed composer at UNIVERSAL PUBLISHING BRASIL where he frequently integrates national and international Song Camps.

SOLO PROJECTS AND PARTNERSHIPS :
In late 2014, he released his first solo album “Om'Dub” through a successful CrowdFunding campaign by Embolacha discos. The album features special guest appearances by Pedro Luís, Marco André, Marcos Suzano, Vulgue Tostoi, Lucas Vasconcellos and several other renowned musicians and artists.
In 2016 he released the EP “Solarize” with the participation of Marco Suzano, Federico Puppi, Raquel Coutinho, Marcos Moletta. He was a finalist for the Music Professionals Award in the “Electronic Music Artist” category in 2017 and 2018.
WORKSHOPS & LESSONS: Marcelo Vig is a Certified Instructor at Ableton, teaches at the award-winning Music and Business course at PUC RJ and professor of drums and development
technical and creative in this instrument.
He taught Rodrigo Barba (Los Hermanos), Diogo Gameiro (Nando Reis), Alice Caymmi and Miguel Couto (Bambina Philosophy / Orquestra Teatro Municipal).
